Highlights of the first group chat
I don't know that I will do this again... but although we did not have a top of discussion for the first group chat, there were some important items pertaining to the Flow that were discussed. I am going to share them here, so please feel free to add your input...
1. The size of the Flow - How big should the forum be allowed to get before no new members are invited? This question is asked with the intent of protecting the intimacy of the forum.
2. Rules - There were 2 rules when the Flow was developed.... respect fellow members and explicit topics are to be posted in the "Its Hot In Here" category only. There is a minimum amount of rules, as members were invited based upon the premise that they are mature individuals that respect the opinions of others and have not shown tendencies to belittle, participate in starting drama or of being judgemental towards others opinions. (There is the ability to remove members from the group, and anyone showing negative tendencies toward others... will be removed).
3. New Rules - For legal protection of the forum... If posting articles posted from another website, it is required that a link to the original website be posted as well. Posting of poety, blogs or writings of others require credit be given to the author...if the author is unknown, then place anonymous or unknown at the end.
4. Categories - Please check the categories and descriptions prior to posting new topics. If placed in the wrong category, they will be relocated. If a category does not exist and you would like to see it, please advise and it will be considered. If the request is valid... it will be created....
5.Questions about the Flow - Please refer to the F.A.Q. If you don't see an answer to your question, please post it there... I will try to provide an answer ASAP.
6. Sports Category_ We need help... The goal is to see discussions regarding sports. In order for that to take place... we requested volunteers to post pre-game predicitions (Can be copied from any sports site) and post game highlights (also for any other sporting events... ie... boxing). Asylum and Lyrics have volunteered to take on some of this.. But it would be great to have Pre and Post game topics for the:
NFL. NBA, NCAA - football and basketball, yada, yada, yada......
7). Sports for Dummies (
).... It was requested that topics explaining the rules of football and basketball be posted for those that don't have a true grasp of the game. If someone is willing to take the time to write those topics or copy them from a sports article... it would be appreciated...
PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POST YOUR THOUGHTS AND COMMENTS REGARDING THE ABOVE... WHETHER YOU PARTICIPATED OR NOT.... THIS IS NOT MY FORUM... IT BELONGS TO ALL OF US... I JUST PUT IT TOGETHER...
