Should A Child Witness Child birth?

#0, by logictraxx, 19 May 2010 04:00 PM

Because of a power outage in the area Dr Hudson’s emergency house call did not go as planned. With no available assistants and no power Dr Hudson would have to work magic to the best of his ability. In a pitch black room Dr Hudson realizes that he cannot both deliver the baby and hold the flash light. Dr Hudson, being a quick thinker, urgently calls for 3yr old Jessica to assist him. Jessica reluctantly approaches from the far corner of the room as Dr Hudson says “sweetie I need you to hold this flash light right here and don’t move okay!” Jessica agrees and Dr Hudson continues to deliver the baby. He tells Elaine to continue pushing as he can see Jason crowning and ready to be fully delivered. Moments later Jason is finally delivered and cries while Dr Hudson removes the umbilical cord and smacks his bottom. Then Dr Hudson turns to 3yr old Jessica with a smile of relief and says “So you have just completed your first delivery, what do you think of your new baby brother?” A wide eyed Jessica replies in an assertive yet innocent tone “He should have never climbed in there in the first place, he’s a bad baby, his a$$ needs another spanking!”

The moral of the story? For a child, ignorance is bliss!

*people have subjective ideals, everything is not completely universal or inevitable, I understand that. This is just from my personal observations*
