Maoral Police, Strick standards, & Pure sillyness

Yeah, "Strict", I know, I'm over it. lols! anyway......

http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/florida-christian-school-dismisses-teacher-jarretta-hamilton-for-fornication/19509791

IMO this just another example of the inability to focus on the true meaning of Spiritual beliefs. Some who are holier than thou catching the God complex? Granted the school has its preferences, but I can’t see where this damages the educational and spiritual growth of the children. Fornication???? (Having a child before marrying the father???)  this is 2010, like it’s not happening all over the world.  What happen to forgiveness and understanding? I starting to become disgruntled with Religious institutions caught up in traditions and not the underlining purpose....a relationship with the most high! Were is the passion, they just had a baby!

That's something ELSE.  At LEAST she married the daddy of the child.  What about the countless millions that don't?  I do have to agree with you logic * cringes * (lols) that a relationship with the most high is what's most important.  Some people are at different levels of growth.  There should have been some forgiveness so the children understood that while mistakes do happen, that's why the blood of the Holy one was shed.  SMH at legalism.

This situation smells racial to me. why? Look at the family photo, white man black woman. I believe it got to much for the upper crust paying a big chunk of the schools bills. To see an interracial couple kind of hit the core of there true beliefs. Now I know we all fall short, but at the same time we as christians should be putting this behavior up front and dealt with so we can move on to the next level of our spirituality. For me I don't look at that puss head but what's behind it the dirt that made it in the first place. In other words who did it bother that she have sex before marriage? Remember the woman that washed the lords feet with her tears? Did he not bless and forgave her.

Rome....To a degree I do agree, the article talks about buzz around the school happening? That normally means people inside faculty start whispering louder than the necessary "12-inch voices"? Some maybe even pushed for the termination.

My children attended Christian schools for several years. I am NOT surprised they fired her and she shouldn't have been either. It is an environment where STRONG biblical principals are front and center. My guess is that they grilled her extensively when she was interviewed on her faith and beliefs. Sex outside of marriage is against Biblical teachings and teachers are considered role models.

I don't think it's racial at all... I think it really is... what it is.

I smell a rat! No matter what y'all say. How is they gonna put this woman and her family through this bull crap. What does that tell you about these christians. They probably burn ppl at the stake. And still nail ppl on the cross. Hell they might just stone you if you come to school walking with a lean. God forbid you came to school sick smelling like alcohol when in fact you just drank some day quill. Just for reasons like the BS they kicked her out on you have to with hold your truths. Instead of them re joysing the fact that she brought a new baby in the world they rather scold her on when did she get pregnant, and did she have sex before she was married. They might as well be mad at god for creating lucifer and giving him all those gifts he has. After all look what luci did. Did god not know that luci was gonna act that way and do the things he did. further more god has it in the bible that he imprison luci for a thousand years let him out then put him in the lake for ever afterwards. So now who's playing who? We was created perfectly to be imperfect, to fail, learn and grow, forgive, understand and love each other with free will. Then not for nothing why is the so concern about her having sex anyway. She's a grown woman, and if they was so uptight about that they better be walking a straight and narrow them selfs.

I agree the moral standards are the focal point but for the most part decisions and behaviors are based on a multitude of concepts and frankly when blacks are involved the concept of race is never out of the question. the moral standards seem to be a crutch to justify the reasoning. I call it Religous Rationalizing!

I'll just say that because I witnessed the members of the church and school for a long time.. I don't believe it's a racial issue. What it is a mentality of "Christianity" that causes division and makes non Christians view us as judgmental and separatist.  There are extremist in any religion or belief...
