In case anyone ever wondered why people in India would rather starve than eat their cows; it is because the cow is viewed as part of the family much like oprah winfrey and others consider their dogs. Some bathe and groom their cows everyday while the cow sustains their lives by providing milk products and fuel. So they would not eat their cows no more than we would eat our pet dogs or cats.
A question was asked, who is the biggest giver on earth besides God? The answer would have to be the cow. The cow gives us milk for breakfast,  burgers for lunch,  and steaks for dinner. The purses and wallets we carry, seats for our butts, shoes for our feet. The cow even gives us the shirt off their backs for us to wear.
