What is it you Value?

How does one's value system play in a relationship with another? At what point in a relationship does one state" Enough!!

The Pity Train has derailed at the intersection of Suck It Up & Move On, and crashed into We All Have Problems, before coming to a complete stop at Get Over It. Any complaints about how we operate can be forwarded to 1-800-waa-waaa .
If you like this re-post, If you don't..suck it up cupcake, Life doesn't revolve around YOU !

Do you value materials and resources, do you value the communication with another, do you value a person's heart

To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' When God takes something from your grasp, He's NOT punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.'

I'm PRICELESS!!!

*chuckles* I just wanted to say that.

My value is one that isn't defined by a man. My value is defined by God and while I don't quite understand the value He has placed on me, I'm learning it day by day.

In a relationship I value the things that last the longest and matter the most. My S/O told me to always know his heart and I agree, that you should always know your S/O's heart. It will help you to pick your battles, if ever there are battles to pick. Outside of that I value the friendship. Too often we aren't friends with those we call our S/O's. And to be true friends you have to have open and honest communication, trust and dependability.

Lastly, I value the fact that my S/O's purpose in life is to do what is pleasing to God and to allow God to control our relationship. I've never had any other man approach me on that level and I appreciate it immensely.

Because of the last relationship I was in... I have become so acutely aware of what I value, things I will not compromise on... Honesty, integrity, morals and character... I never want to be in another relationship where I have to contemplate whether or not I believe what he says... or better yet, know he is lying but just leave it alone because I know the consequences of calling him out on it.

I value a relationship that places all the cards on the table so I can make a informed decision based on truth not one in which reality has been manipulated so that I don't have the ability to assess the situation fully. I value a relationship in which he is honest enough to put who he is on the table and understand that if I am in love with him.... I accept the flaws in him as well... keep the representative at home....

Good stuff sister matrixone05... For whatever it may be worth I humbly suggest that income level, academic degrees nor prestigious titles are necessarily good measurements or indicators of personal integrity and character.
